Why Colshine is Needed

Skin aging begins with the loss of the extracellular matrix (ECM).

The extracellular matrix in the skin is located in the dermis and helps maintain elasticity, moisture retention, and skin structure.
As aging progresses, the extracellular matrix gradually breaks down and disappears, leading to wrinkles appearing on the skin’s surface.
Additionally, the reduction in moisture causes a loss of skin elasticity, resulting in sagging skin.

80% of the extracellular matrix is collagen.

The extracellular matrix consists of various components, with collagen making up about 80% of it. In the skin, type I collagen is the most abundant.

Therefore, supplementing the skin with type I collagen can help maintain a healthy extracellular matrix.

Colshine Characteristic

Colshine has a white, small, viscoelastic formulation.

Collagen molecules consist of three chains that come together to form a triple-helix structure, giving them their characteristic white formulation.

Hydrolyzed collagen is broken down into smaller molecular weights, losing its original collagen structure and transforming into gelatin, which has a transparent formulation.
